I have only been on internet for 1 year but I put up a website 9 months ago. I just learned that search engines regard the same webpage with and without www as different webpages. I read all info Google has on Page Rank and does not help. Some sites link to my site with the www but my web webpages on Yahoo answers are without the www. My site had all the pages without the www but I just put them in to be consistent from now on.

But some of my pages without the www are PR 3 and PR 2. But the same pages without them are PR 0. What should I do? Example: http://phifoundation.org/heal.html is PR 3, but the same page http://www.phifoundation.org/heal.html is PR 0.

Check it out, my homepage has a pagerank of 2 along with the rest of my other pages that were listed under a folder. I recently changed the folder name as well as the page names to make them a little more search engine friendly. The problem is that when i did that, the google page rank reset to 0!?? So I went from page rank 2 to 0, except for the homepage obviously.

Will google recognize this and reset the pagerank for my other pages?

PPPPlease let me know, I got sooooooo sad when that happened!

i have this searchstatus plugin on my firefox to display page rank. my father writes a blog for 6 months, he updates the page twice a week, he receives ~40 visitors a day, the blog is linked from other websites, but the pagerank is still zero. does it take some time for pagerank to update or does it depend on other things?
aren’t directories kinda oldfashioned? anybody still uses them?
